anyone seen the new issue yet?
I'm still looking, just wondering if they've started to pop up yet, as it's nearing the end of the month.

I haven't seen an issue in Hampton Rhodes in about 4 months! (It's a quarterly publication...right?)...Good to hear that it's still around... maybe I'll just subscribe & save myself the looking 4 it!!!

*Edited to add ( I just tried to subscribe online at the primedia site... can't do it... it's like project car mag... DAMMIT!)
>>>>>>>>>Guess I'll have to resort to the old search 'till I find it ritual<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

regarding siphon is it a magazine that's loaded with pictures like Import Tuner. Or is it more of an informative type magazine that actually has information we can use. Havent picked up a copy ever x.x

I've never bought a copy before (also never had a Fit b4), but have glanced at a few at the news stand & believe that it's somewhere in between your two descriptions.

I agree. It could use a bit more technical information in regards to what's gone into the vehicles they feature, like a box showing modifications.

And I wish I could pick a new copy up more often. The waits between issues is dreadfully and ridiculously long. That's my only gripe about the magazine. Otherwise, I like it. The humor is Super Street/Sport Compact lite, but the pictures and articles are like Import Tuner.

EDIT: Dang, I didn't even finish my thoughts. lmao.

+1 on your description. i just wish that they would be a bit more techy, like honda tuning.

and they absolutley need to do away with all the scion t/c stuff; its lame and it doesn't belong in a car dedicated to micro-compacts, as the t/c is much closer in comparsion to a honda civic. and if thats the case, what makes them different from everyone else? throw some mini, old crx and ef/eg/ek hatchback articles in there, as they are around the same size as most other micro compacts!

they gave some lame excuse as to why they put cars like the t/c in there, something like because they had to give props to cars that were built so cleanly. well i know a hell of a lot of cars that fit that description, but do they belong in the mag? no.

i'd love to buy the new issue, just as long as it contains the right type of info.

No Siphon on shelf at Barnes & Nobel in DC as of yesterday-27 Mar. Still had the last issue, which shows not much interest in mag in Northern VA/DC.

At least you guys can still find the last issue. I've hit every B&N, Walmart, Autozone, Waldenbooks, Target, etc in the area. Couldn't find it when it was NEW, let alone now.

I finally bought the old issue (even though they were supposed to remove it earlier this month)>>>>>>>>>>still no NEW issue out yet.

** I guess I should just be thankful that VA B&N still have the old one, though!! LETS hear it for lazy B&N employees!!

Thats mostly because they've been going through editors like crazy, so maybe with the new guy in charge that'll change a bit
