Build Your Own Fit Paper Model From "PapeCarCraft"

Something to do if you've got the time and you're bored. For anyone who has a lot of time, make the Fit and some other models and post pics.

A lot more models here: art66ペパカークラフト

Nice find! Thanks for sharing. Making me a VBP Fit later today hehe. If you folks have time to blow check out these other paper craft sites. (Helps is you can read Japanese, but you can pretty much figure stuff out if you think about it)

NSX (I have the PIAA one on my desk, it took me 4 hours to make)

Epson Nakajima Racing:ペーパークラフト

Here is one for Yamaha motorcycles, animals, and random stuff. Really detailed and hard to think that its just paper.

Damn you! We only have a black and white printer here at work or I'd have made one too lol. I'll have to wait until I get home.

anybody gotta loose translation for the instructions? i'm a go by trial and error in the mean time. and is the 2000 civic 4dr hatch (in the second paper car link) the precursor to our fit? because sdpannfit has an 89 4dr civic hatch and i swear to god it's the same freakin car as ours. that's what i tell people the fit is anyways... a 4dr civic. i was tired of people asking i drive a what? it's called a huh?

Another Paper Model of The Fit

Here's another one I found awhile ago. I bookmarked the link but now it's not working. I tried making this but was unsuccessful. Anyone willing to try? Post pics!

yah, mine's nice and yellow.

i made another one at home using cardstock for my son. turned out
just as good. doesn't really matter if regular paper or cardstock.

and i agree, use both scissors and a very sharp paper cutting knife,
exacto would be perfect. looks like i wont be able to make the aston
during lunch today... maybe i'll hide out back in the afternoon and make
it.

yeah, so, i'd say it took me around an hour at work last night too, with little interuptions the whole time. i had no idea what to expect of the final outcome, but damn, i was hella imppressed with the end product. no tape, no glue, everything just like folded in and locked itself into place like with an internal support structure. bad ass yo. the only thing that gave me problems was the front end. i cant get the hood and lights to line up perfectly, but it's still ok.

the instructions say to staple the flaps with stars... that's probably
why. i found that it's better to staple/tape the front star flaps a little bit
on the wide side so that it pushed outward closing the gap with the
hood and front bumper. mine is flush.

I just printed one on cardstock. I'll let my much more artistic wife have a go at it when she gets home. Thanks for the link!
