It seems to be the same engine, does anyone know why the 2009 fit has 11 more horse than previous years? Is it a better factory tune, or is it something internally(compression/cams/etc.)? If anyone has any technical specs on the 09 fit engine, please toss a link up, i would love to know. I tried searching for 20 mins but could not find anything.

maybe its the i-vtec
maybe a new set of headers
could be many things.
i dont see it as necessary personally
but you can bet i'll be at honda day one to test drive without any intention to buy.

 

Heres a link to the first drive from edmunds and they hint at the fact that its the i-vtec that gives it the boost in power but until they hit the streets and people can tinker with them we prob wont find out. being that its an economy car the ivtec will just be like our vtec or just like the EP3's

but overall the HP gain might just be from the headers or the intake change or soemthing
