Urgent help needed!

My check engine light is on! I'm pretty sure it for the engine oil because it says the oil life is only 15% but I only have 3,3XX miles on the car. The light has been on all day and I have done a lot of driving today. So should I change the oil? Should I take it to the dealer?

Also, my TPMS warning light is on and its not going off, all my tires seem fine. Here is the link to that thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-question.html

All advice or opinions are happily welcomed, so please help me out here. Thanks!

The only thing I can advise is to take it to the dealership..you still have waranty for the car I bet. Ive had my oil light come on before so I took it to my dealer, and they told me it was a glitch. They removed it for me and said nothing was wrong. I say drive the car up to the dealership first thing Monday morning.

Have you checked your oil level?

You drove around all day with the check engine light on? You may have significant engine damage. Or it may be something very innocent like a loose gas cap. But it requires immediate attention.
Did you check the oil LEVEL to see if it had enough oil, which is way more important than the percentage life left.
Get to your dealer NOW.
Did you measure the tire pressures with a good tire pressure gauge? You cannot just 'look' at a tire and know its OK. Ditto dealer or good tire shop.

Good News: TPMS light went off.
Update: Check Engine light still on, but i can turn it off by pressing the button coming out of the gauge cluster. Oil seems fine I checked it. Engine is running perfect.

What kinda oil did you use on your last oil change? Crude? j/k. 3K oil change seems a little early. Something is definately wrong. Sounds like a potential recall to me. I guess this gives me another good reason on not trusting my oil life indicator.

DUDE ur making a mistake. That wrench is NOT your check engine light!!! Ur check engine light is located on the tach gauge, not the gauge with the gas gauge and it shows an ENGINE symbol. The wrench symbol means IT'S TIME TO CHANGE UR OIL!! Don't confuse the two and u don't need 2 take a trip 2 the dealership, just go 2 jiffy lube or do it urself (recommended).
