Depends on what you want. Theljnet has them for pretty cheap and they are pretty decent. They are vendors here on the site if you want to look them up. Thats where i got mine before i switched and went with HIDs.

in the fog and drizzle, yellow makes it a lot easier to see.

if you use those as actual fog lamps and not driving lights... imho
i need to aim those a little higher with the rake i have on the car now...

I'll second that.

Got my Nokya yellow bulbs from eBay about a month ago for $16 shipped; they're awesome.

Yeah, i only hear great things about them and the price is a big plus.
Im just trying to decide bulbs or film. I like film just because the yellow is always visible day or night. But i think bulbs have a better out put.
Can someone give me some direction here? Thanks!

Film = PITA 9 time out of 10. I prefer bulbs. Now normally I would not condone yellow fogs -not to my liking- but on YOUR car with your rims it would work. I would still do the bulbs as opposed to the film though.

Either way, yellow really does improve your visibility in fog or pounding rain, + I think it looks badass at night. Everybody has hyper-white fogs, yellow is still unique. 'round here anyways.

It's unique enough. I just think it looks retarded when you see a car with mis-matching lights coming down the road.

It's one of the reasons a lot of people automatically assume all honda drivers/owners are ricers. (obviously they are not nor do i think this is a ricer site -i wouldn't be posting here if i did-) Just saying it's things like that, that can earn a label.

I'd be willing to bet that 90% of all drivers on the road could care less what your lights look like.

Maybe, but it seems there are quite a few here that care.

Yeah and they comprise of the 10% who actually do care. God forbid one actually does something that pleases themself and not the majority.

Regardless, the benefits of yellow light in poor weather are prevalent. That in itself should justify yellow fog lights over white, unless one isn't using their fogs for their intended purpose.

Found this on a Mercedes thread.

Foglights are supposed to be yellow. Yellow cuts through the fog better then white or blue because the wavelength of the yellow light is longer (slower) than the others.

As for MTEC bulbs, I hope you are prepared to buy new bulbs soon.

When you do, get your self some Philips or Osram bulbs from Car Bulbs from Power Bulbs - upgrade xenon car bulbs, headlight bulbs, autobulbs and autolamps from Philips, Osram and Narva. Philips X-Treme Power, Osram NightBreaker, Osram Silverstar and more.

I prefer the Osram all-weather since they are the most yellow of the two.

I live in Phoenix where it hardly rains, but I like the yellow look better than white. Bulbs > film for me since I like the clear look when they're off, and the yellow is more dramatic at night. I have the Philips X-Treme for my driving lights, and I have matching plasma ion yellow wedges for my parking lights. Mirror orange for the turn signals. Makes for a clean look up front.
