So, I am picking up a Fit within the next two weeks. It's going to be a Sport AT and I got a really good deal, about $17K OTD. So the only thing I need to do is decide what color i want. I am looking at the VBP, BOM, SSM, NHBP. There are pros and cons to each, and I cannot decide. The vbp and bom are colors that stand out, but aren't too much, and I like that, but i like the fact that i can "blend" in with the crowd with the ssm and nhbp and get less attention from cops and what not. Also, i love black, but i dont know if i will have the time to take care of the paint. If you guys have any suggestions to help me with my search, that'd be great. Thanks in advance!

I'd go Vivid Blue Pearl because 1) its a great color choice and 2) I drive one. The only drawback about the VBP is that there are a good bit of Fits out there in that color. I personally seen at least 4 after having mine one week.

Now, have you considered a Black Berry Pearl? It would give you the best of both worlds when it comes to its appearance. Appearing black when very little to no light is around, enabling you to "blend in" with the crowd and being a nice deep purple tone when the sun gleams on it.

I really don’t think you should ask us about the color. Its all in the eye of the beholder. When I bought mine, I wanted Silver or Blue. Pick 2 colors you like the most and take the first on you can find.

 

BOM!.. lol im kidding its an aquired taste.

i got the quote from my dad's friend who is an auto broker. Also, since its from a broker, i can get basically any color i want, which leads me to this dilema... i like the BOM, but since im graduating college, cant really be too flashy... but we'll see... i have a few days to decide...

 

Well during those few days go to a dealer or better yet a Fit meet. It should help you on making your final decision.

I went in thinking about black and only black.
But somehow when I saw the VBP it struck me as a neat choice for the car, and a color that made it stand out to me. Now you can't go wrong no matter what you end up with... but I think the black is harder to keep clean looking. The VBP stands out in a crowd.

Now if you modify at all, the blue is harder to match...

 

i do plan on doing some mods as well, so that is also going into my color considerations...

 

oddly enough even tho i love my nhbp i voted for the ssm i hate the swirl marks on the black my friend had the same problem with his teg which shared the same paint code in 2000 and now that ive seen some modified the ssm is sick ! just my 2 cents tho

 

VIVID BLUE PEARL is starting to get played out, just like on the 99-00 civics. Thats what every honda kid repainted their car with. I mean you just see it ALL THE TIME, but its your car....get what you want

awww man, no BBP as an OPTION. no bueno. i'm voting BBP anyway too! you just cannot go WRONG with a fit though. so whatever you prefer. since you don't wanna be flashy..then maybe SSM or NHBP! good luck and let us know what you decide!
