So for those who have been reading my other thread about the Fit replacing my Mazda 3, you know I've been looking into the availability of Fits here in Northern California.

I've seen an '07 for $14k with 74k miles and a more reasonable '08 for just under sticker with 10k. I'd buy new since they seem to be holding value, which gives me no reason to consider a used one really.

The car comes with a guaranteed 4k trade-in. So I suspect they just jacked up the asking price by $4000 so when you trade in the $200 junker you end up paying 16kish.
