Belated intro

I've been a member here just under a month but never got around to introducing myself before I started posting, so here's a belated "Hi!" to everyone here.

I live in Ottawa, Canada, and two weeks ago I picked up my shiny new BBP '08 Fit LX, M/T. I'm almost 30, but this is my first car... and I'm loving every moment of it (even with the minor "issues" I've posted about).

My current pasttime while meandering around the city (walking or driving) is keeping an eye out for another, ever-elusive BBP Fit like my own I've only spotted one other so far, making me thankful I held out for my colour choice.

I'm glad we have a great site like fitfreak where we can share experiences and words of wisdom, and look forward to spending more time here!

Thanks, I love the BBP.

As for modding, this actually is my one small regret with my first car being new: I'm hesitant to do any serious mods on it! If I'd got a used one, or at least an older beater-upper to practice on first, I might be more inclined.

Mods I'd be interested in doing are simple right now--centre armrest, tinted windows, heck even keyless entry (kind of regret not having that installed when I bought it). *Maybe* a heavier shift knob and hard mount for smoother shifts.

Thanks for the welcome! I don't suppose there are any other Ottawa Fit owners on this board?
