yeah we finally get to see how this thing performs/rides. I saw a micro/compart car challenge in jap on youtube the other day. It was fun to see these guys race them. But if I knew what there were saying it would have been better lol. And if they werent testing autos.....

 

Comon, Folks - Top Gear is just another entertainment show! Cable/Internet fodder. Sure, it is fun, but if you were looking for or expecting realistic reporting and testing, go to Consumer Reports or something like that https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/imag...lies/smile.gif

Top Gear is a great show.

Consumer Reports is great for dry statistics and extremely conservative reviews for the average Joe but they are definitely NOT enthusiasts and they aren't 1/100 as entertaining as Top Gear. Don't get me wrong, I swear by CR, but they have the same amount of passion for reviewing refrigerators as they do for reviewing cars.

Does anyone know if/when Top Gear reviewed the CURRENT Fit? (I mean other than the episode with the grandmothers driving one!)

Top Gear tends to air on Sunday first anyway, why is it Monday now? And other sources don't say next week, nor can I find any information about the new Honda Jazz being reviewed on it.

They really didn't dedicate much time to the Jazz before.

 

When watching the new "MONDAY" night show that came on only a few hours before I posted this they did a preview of next weeks episode. They have never done a preview 2weeks before one airs and its been coming on monday since this seasson started only about 3 episodes ago. I saw them talking about it, hitting some corners and the wtig beating the shit out of it. Just like you, I was blown away. I mean I love Top Gear > type comsumer reports, but the review the eco fit is like a wet dream on a hardcore auto show is like a wet dream. So I waited 2 more hours for it to come on again to verify what I saw. It says new episode, which is next week based on all the others. If by some chance it does not show next week I will cry with the rest of you.....

 

yeah i'm a top gear enthusiast too, its a great show.
definitely a must watch.
but like many of you i have to resort to youtube.

Last week I found out that I had the BBC! I watched a lot of Ramsay, Top Gear was not on when I was sitting in front of the tube. I will watch next week regardless if the 09 is on or not. I love Top Gear.

 

if you have the japanese gran turismo 5 prologue, you can download any of the top gear episodes. but ill just watch it on bbc america.

 

The three amigos of TOP GEAR are gonna compete against each other in a FIT? Sorry, can't do anymore, laughing too hard.

 

I love that show (as you can see by my avatar), and the guys are really funny. They will problably say that is too slow and compare it to a Ferrari and say that while as not as fun or fast, it is one of the best cars for the money or something. Kinda sucks that we are like 6 months behind. The show that is airing now is like from December or something.

I can't wait to see The Stig test the car around The Lap.

According to FinalGear.com :: There's Fifth Gear, There's Top Gear, And Then There Is Final Gear, the season premier of top gear doesn't even start until June 22nd.

 

Hopefully it will be with a MT and not the CVT Jazz!
