Thanks, SD. I'm going to look for some of the exhaust sounds for the stuff you mentioned. I bought an extended warranty like an idiot. You guys know how hard it is to get my money back on that? I could just keep the financing as is, have them cut me a check and spend the money on these upgrades. lol

Rod. I'll be lookin' for that sound clip tonight, man! Thanks!

I don't think they are going to refund you on an extended warranty you could ask tho.....

Visors, tint, and dead pedal are the best comfort mods we've done. I'm saving my pennies for the JDM armrest.

i'd suggest the little cosmetic stuff like the dash and door trims that match your paint. i personally think they look pretty snazzy and are about the only mods i could afford, lol.

You should be able to get a prorated refund on the extended warranty. Just call and talk to the finance manager at the dealership you bought the car at.

Got too late to get a clip tonite, but I'll try and get in in the AM and post it while at work tomorrow. Don't feel like going outside and revving it and possibly waking the kids up now!

I'll have to give Honda a call and see if I might be able to get a little bit of cash back. Let me know how it works for any of you.

I'll be looking forward to that sound clip tomorrow! Hope you can post it! I think I'm mostly interested in that sense it doesn't seem to be so loud and obnoxious. Just enough to give it a little extra, I'm hoping

Also I've been looking at intake options and am sort of stuck in the middle. I kind of want something that will sound cool while also giving me more throttle response. These things are so freakin' expensive tho. I was curious what some of you thought. And SD_MR_FIT wrote the following in a thread I visited tonight and I'd be interested in hearing more about this mod. But after reading about the Supa Sucka I'm thinking about picking that up.

"i know this is a jimmy rig, i did notice that it helped out a lot.

usually for the broke guys, or for cars they dont have intakes for.

for the drop in type filters i just keep the lid, and then partially the bottom piece of the intake box. the bottoom part holds the filter in place, while the top part clamps down.

well i just cut a big fatty chunk out of the bottom, and wala i got myself a short ram. normally i just put the k&n drop in, and call it a day. it help me improve gas mileage on my v6 camry. and the bonus side, its still carb legal, because when the smog inspector looks at it, it still looks like a stock intake...because he cant see the bottom part is missing.

you can call it dumb, but for those who just want the intake noise and the better throttle response, i definitely feel a better pull when vtec/vvti kicks in aswell, so it sure does help."

And what do you guys think of this over the HFP muffler? A SPEC PRODUCTS

Sound clip uploading as I type, its huge so taking a while. FOr intake, I ordered an AFE. I had good luck with that one on my Durango, and it looks way better than the K&N for the Fit. I'm getting the one with the non oiled filter though.

Thanks a lot for posting those clips, Rod. I think I may want just a little bit more, deeper tone out the exhaust. Has anyone tried out the Megan axle back? That one seems reasonably priced and some of the YouTube vids I've seen sound pretty low and good.

Sounds great. I like the quiet, but deep tone.
