Scraping sound when shifting to Drive

Has anyone else with the A/T noticed a brief scraping noise when you shift into Drive? It usually happens to me when the car is cold, whether I shift from Park to Drive or from Park to Reverse to Drive. It sounds like it's coming from the front end, and I hope it's not something in the transmission. Thoughts?

Note: It's not the ABS noise, that doesn't happen until I hit 10 mph.

I dunno if I'd call it a scrape noise, but I get some click noise when I shift into D.

My nephew's 5 speed auto civic makes the same noise as my Fit when going into D. Must be a Honda thing...

I too have the 'scrape' sound when I shift into drive or reverse... it got quieter after the 1st oil change at the stealership.

I had told them about it - and of course they couldn't hear it... and I was too busy that day to go over it with them... maybe next time.

Glad to hear someone else noticed this!

Since so many people are hearing this, do you guys think it's a normal thing and I should just let it go?

Nope, I don't think I've used the parking brake once in the 2 months I've had it.
