Well I sold my Honda Accord privately before my vacation in Cocoa Beach.

Went to a couple dealers in Cocoa and talked to a few before in the WPB and Treasure Coast area. Put a deposit down for a 2008 BOM Sport FIT M/T!! It will arrive in Cocoa on the 21st!!!!!!!

In the meantime they gave me a loaner vehicle (gas hog van, but it was free!!).

Can't wait to go back and get my BOM FIT!!!!! : )

How in the heck did they get that car so fast??? (Color/Model/Tranny combo)???

Too funny though - we're from Cocoa Beach originally - and we're trading in an '05 Accord for the Fit...

 

I went to EdMorseHonda in Riviera Beach first, about 6months ago they had one but I wasn't ready yet. In the meantime I went online to every honda dealer in South Florida up to Cocoa Bch. I looked when they put a BOM fit up on their web site (internet sales). SpaceCoast Honda had one on their site for about 4 days before my vacation. So I figured as long as it was on the site I could have a shot. When I got to Cocoa on that Saturday, I called them and they said they did not have any Fits on the lot. I was a bit upset but I didn't care because I would go to Tampa if needed to get the FIT I wanted.
On Sunday I went to the dealer and chatted with the salesman. I said look I know what I want how long would it take to get it.

He looked up his master list and found that a BOM FIT Sport M/T was due to arrive by the 18-20th. We talked some more and then I called a couple other places in Orlando just to see if they had the BOM fit on the lot. One did but it was an Automatic.

So I put the deposit down and a few days later he told me that it would not be in until the 21st. I asked if this was 100% confirmed. He said that he was 95% sure that Saturday the car would be there. So hence the loaner car.

I can't believe it either. Personally until I'm actually driving my FIT I won't believe it LOL!!

Welcome to the BOM club!

 

I love the BOM color it's just sweet. The funny thing is that while I was in Cocoa Beach I saw about 14 Fits (both base and Sport) but there were a plethora of VBP fits. 9 of the 14 fits were blue!!! The other 5 were 2 SSM Fits, BOM fit, BBP Fit and the last one was TWBM Fit.

I never saw a MR Fit or a NHBP Fit in Cocoa, Though i see an MR and NHBP Fit all the time in South FL!

I think I even saw a FitFreaker coming through Narcoosee Rd in Orlando this past Saturday in a SSM Fit with White aftermarket wheels. Once I see a pic of it I'll know who it was!!
