Antenna melting...WTF?!

Of course it was like 110 today and come walking out of work, I see my antenna looking like a limp... banana. Has anyone seen their antenna melt or look distorted after their car being under mass amounts of heat?

It's been hotter than that here... 112 the past couple of days, and I haven't seen anything like that.

I think they have a pill for that...

(Mine hasn't done that, but the max here has been ~100)

Yeah the heat is pretty brutal out here... and having a black interior doesn't help...

The AC works pretty well, though. Start driving with the windows down and the AC on full blast (outside air). Then I put the windows up, and after a few more minutes change the AC over to circulate. My trip home is usually the hottest part of the day... I find that max AC is a bit too cold, and the setting right below it is a bit too warm, so I usually switch between the two every few minutes.

hahahaha ok well i live in southern california so it really doesn't reach extreme temperatures, although it's supposed to get pretty hot this weekend. but this reminds me, when i wash my car and i get to the antenna i always feel so dirty when i wash it because i feel like i'm violating my poor baby fit by jacking off the antenna . anyway, haha that's funny. i wanna see pics!

That's so dirty, lol...

Off topic... you're planning on getting white rims for your BBP? I've been thinking about the same thing, I think that will look HOT!

Got any other plans? I can't decide on what I want to mod next... I've been thinking about getting some Swift springs for a mild drop whenever I get the white rims...

Also been thinking about swapping the headlights for a Taffeta White set.... something different to match the rims. Gotta save my money, too!

well..i wanna lower it a little, but i already scrape sometimes as it is! i've never thought of the taffeta white headlights, but i think that would look sweet on BBP especially with white rims. i still can't decide if i wanna get my windows tinted..i'm afraid it will wash out the color and make everything too dark and kill the purple-ish ness. do you mind showing me some pics of your tint?

Here's a pic... I'm still trying to figure out this camera... its a good one, but not a SLR like some people have. The tint actually looks really good in real life:

I'll try to play with my settings to get some better pictures (like yours!). Get some tint, you won't regret it!
