Guys, what do the coilovers do, enhance the ride, enhance the handling or both? I think the car handles pretty good from stock but the ride could use some dampening.

I got my fit about a month ago.

Ive got a K&N Typhoon intake on the way and over the next month or two plan to get a Megan Header, some form of cat back or axle back and some 15" wheels and nicer tires to replace the 14" donuts mine came with. Eventually I wanna do suspension but I need to find a kit that will allow me to keep the stock ride height since I drive the car in the winter to ski mtns and the roads can get rough. I'm new to tuning cars and any advice would be appreciated.

ah dude not to be mean. but i think the most important piece of advice you can get is to search the forums before buying ANY product. and if you cant find info on it make a post and the members here will give you any info they have on it or help you find info. here is an article as to why you shouldnt have got the k & m typhoon.

Nah thats cool you live an learn I guess. However I did get it at wholesale price from a buddy who owns a parts store so it wasn't a huge over payment for a shoddy product. Also there was a redesign according to that thread so it fits better than originally. Thanks for the heads up though so when I start swearing at it when installing I know its a flaw and not me!

no problem, hopefully the redesign is better. i thought they promised a redesign and never followed through with it. i think the post of that thread gives a short description of what is needed to be done to get it fit. goodluck.
