another one in the bag

Well this sounds cliche'd but i'm new to the forum and the proud new owner of a 08 blazin orange fit. I'd post pix but i think we all have an idea of what it looks like. i actually got the last sport a city of 3 different honda dealerships so they're selling like hotcakes. Well as far as price goes its tough to be a buyer right now. I walked out of all three dealerships because of markup and no one will budge in price . So five days later i went to the one that at least tries to halfway justify a 1300 dollar protection package of spray, pinstripe, etc.... It's all b.s. but when gas is $4.30 the used ones are more expensive then new. anyways look forward to interesting threads and heated discussions.

p.s. first fillup on way to whitewater rafting trip logged 36.1 mpg with 3 peeps in the ride. (its an automatic)

Welcome! Where in KY do you live? I just moved to NKY area. Where'd you go rafting also? I'm headed out to the New River in WV this weekend! Can't wait!

I swear this is true:
I once saw some rafters stopped on the bank of the New River, near Fayetteville, WV, cooking chili over a fire. Elvis Presley (the fat version with the white suit) came down from above and sort of crash-landed with his foot right in the pot of chili. Ruined the chili, got chili all over his white bell-bottoms, and generally made everyone's day.
Again, I promise this is 100% true.
Believe it... or not.
I bet Cat knows what month it was when this happened, although probably not what year it was.

We have a winner! You win, um, let's see...some rep! That's all I have to give ya.

Bridge Day is great fun. I have seen and done some weird stuff there. Seen a lot more than I've done, but just BASE jumping is weird for a low-key guy like me. I haven't jumped as Elvis, or broken any bones.
Hope to keep it that way.
