Yep. We have no real rush for a new car, so decided to go ahead and wait.
Have a buddy that's a CFO for a very large dealership chain who had one of their general managers put me at the top of their waiting list. He has helped us out with a MDX, 5-series, & a 4Runner in the past so hopefully it works out as well with the new Fit!

Im just curious but how long is that waiting list? Im sure it must be pretty long especially how gas prices seem to go up everyday.

Not sure, but the GM did say they have several poeple getting added every week. Pretty cool though that they are not making anyone pay a deposit to get on the waiting list, unlike some posters have mentioned at other dealerships. The GM said they were not exactly worried about getting stuck with extra Fits on their lot!

Well there was a setback but as we speak it has been secured from another dealership in the area. They are just waiting for a red sport to arrive so a trade can be made. Im crossing my fingers that everything goes to plan.
