Newbie here... reassurance on color choice?

I picked up my awesome new 08 Fit Sport AT yesterday and I LOVE it. This car ROCKS. When I first started doing research, I was convinced I wanted plain silver. The more I thought about it, the more I thought a vivid, unusual color might be more fun. When a Vivid Blue Sport model came in - I jumped at it. But I'm still getting used to the color. Can all you fab Fit owners give me a little reassurance on my color choice? A little validation goes a long way. I want to enjoy this marvel of engineering without worrying about the color or second-guessing myself. (I wonder if anyone else does this.) Thanks everyone! I'm very happy & proud to be a new Fit owner. Coolest car in a very long time.

your color choice is awesome. VBP was actually the color i wanted on my car but i chose to get a BOM fit instead due to not having to wait for a blue one to come. I think having a "rare" color car on the road is pretty cool, get a lot of attention (if youre into that kinda thing).

Excellent color choice - I was orginally looking at the Blackberry but instead went with the Vivid Blue - for some reason the Blue looked more sporty to me.

The Blue Pearl is an awesome color. I almost got it, but I edged to the red instead. Honestly, all of the colors are awesome. Don't worry so much about the color, just enjoy your new car!

I went in thinking "I want the black one!" But I took some friends with me, and all of them said "The blue one is more unique, and it seems to fit the car. You really should get that one." When I looked at the odometers the black one had been used as a "test driver" and had close to 300 miles on it already. The VBP was just off the truck with only 6 miles. I took it as a sign.

Now I think all colors are exceptional. But the nice thing about the Vivid Blue Pearl - you can get the matching accessories for the interior, it doesn't show dirt as fast as black or white, it reminds me of Superman, and it stands out. I have never regretted the decision to get that color. I even seek out anything that goes in the car to match - sunglasses, a pen holder, my travel coffee mug, the coin holder. It's all that shade of blue.

I'm a Vivid Blue FREAK!

You guys are the best - thank you for the kind words and great advice!! This whole Fit experience has been wondeful at every stage. This enthusiastic, supportive online community here is the icing on the cake. I just took a peek at 'my baby' in the garage just now. It's so pretty.

The blue looks great man, no worries.

I went through the same though process myself. I was thinking white or silver because they are "practical" but I felt this particular car especially just "popped" so much more in the more lively colors. I went with red (I had a choice between the dk silver, tidewater blue (light silver/blue) and the red.

Talking Of course I'm biased but . . .

VBP looks great in the daylight, but at night under fluorescent light in a parking lot it looks even better!

I've noticed that it reveals the depth and pearlescence of the paint color more in night conditions. Very pretty.

That blue is definitely an awesome color. My choices were between that and BOM, I leaned towards the BOM since it was one of the colors that was only available in the Sport version, that and I had not seen one of them on the road around here either. I like having my cars stand out from the crowd.

VBP was my first choice, but i couldn't wait around for 2 months while the dealer found one, so i went with MR instead.

they're both fantastic colors.

hah i was all set to buy a vivid blue pearl and the dealer went and sold it on me... i went to another dealer and blaze orange was the only color sport and stick they had so i got it... i had doubts about the color after i got it but i really like it now... after you live with it for a while it becomes you.. i can say this after vbp was my first choice too..

Yes!

You'll like it eventually - I just ordered my Fit! It's an Orange one - the ONLY one available and it's apparently on a boat somewhere between Vermont and Japan.

I am just getting out of my Nissan Versa lease and I got the Electric Blue Versa - when it arrived, my response was "Whoa. That's blue. That's like... 'Holy-crap-oh-my-god-that's-blue BLUE." but I've LOVED THE COLOR!!

I can't wait til it gets here!!!
