One question and one weird question
One question and one weird question
I got my Fit in early June and am just LOVING it.
Occasionally, when stopped at a light or sitting in a parking spot without foot on gas, I hear a rattling type of noise on the front passenger side. I got out once and could hear it most when next to the front passenger wheel. It doesn't do it very often, just occasionally and I'm wondering if I should have it checked out. I'm a first time car owner and wonder if I'm just being a hypochondriac mother whose baby just sniffled.
The weird question I have is: Is it relatively easy for the dealership to remove the front lip that's on the sport model? I just think it's way too low. I feel like my car will act as a plow when there are 6 inches of snow on the ground. I've been looking at other vehicles and it appears that the Fit's lip is much lower than anything else I've seen.
Oh.... one more thing. Are there any options available to secure cargo in the hatchback besides a net?
Thanks.

While he's there he can remove the lip spoiler but that will cost.
I compartment my cargo area with boxes to keep things where I want them.Perhaps the McNeil floor trays can do what you want. Or the Honda ones but only on line will you likely get fair prices for those from a dealer.
I also suggest that you have the service dept. at your dealer check out the rattling - it is not normal. Also, there are MANY cargo (trunk) organizers available from auto supply catalogs. Target.com has quite a few. Most of them can hold 3 full grocery bags securely, and they have hook Velcro on the bottom to keep the organizer from slipping around on the floor. Many have tops that zip closed to hide the contents. If you have a Target store nearby, you will find several types and brands of organizers in the Automotive dept.
If you are under warranty I say take advantage!
