Real deal is worth the extra $$$ when it comes to visors.

If you like the Mugen ones, go for it. But I highly suggest that you get the authentic ones. The quality, fit and finish is perfect compared to the fake ones. Another good option is the JDM Access visors. They give a cleaner look, but don't have that air duct.

Is the word Mugen really worth $110?

I got the same responses when I asked about the Mugen Type visors from ebay. Has anyone here tried the replicas, was disappointed, and then went out and paid the extra $$$ for the Mugens?

Follow the link, I had a couple people say that the Mugen-type work just fine for them.

Personally, I'm going with the less expensive type.

I ordered my authentic Mugens from hondafittuner.com well over a month ago and they haven't arrived yet. I sent them multiple emails with my copy of my order and no word from them yet. Anyone else have issues with hondafittuner.com? The other stuff I bought from them came right away...something is awry and I'm upset.

it's really up to you whether you want authentic pieces or knockoffs. you can save a lot of money but you can also end up with a bad product.

People who are willing to rock fakes need to just not get 'em period.

This applies to anything from cars to clothes to shoes.

thats the reason im asking. just wondering if people have them and the fit of the product. i dont intend on claiming there authentic, but painting them to match the car and covering the "mugen" emblem anyways. i like the vent in the mugens and for the price there hella cheaper, therefore i could get the trunk garnish from hondafittuner.com also. dont worry guys, im not going to plaster stickers all over a stock fit or be an ebay racer. just wondering if anyone dealt with the replicas. also the mugen "style" rear garnish isnt made by any other company. i seen good reviews on it. any opinions on that piece?

thanks
ricky h

ps lots of ricky's own a fit. i owned a 240 and a j body and never once ran into annother ricky.

I stand corrected. From what I heard the only difference was up close. Like the smoothness of the edges. I thought you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you knew what to look for. Maybe I'll rethink my plans.

The quality is different - its darker and it doesnt have the clips onto the door frame. Also, the 3M tape is only good to old her visor on, but when it rains and u left ur window open, the visor will not help - you're just gonna come back and find a wet seat.

I had one, installed and used during Vancouver Fall/Winter Season.. BIG MISTAKE

if you get the fake ones. it will blind an extra 1 inch on the a-pillar bar.

i mean the vision already sucks. you dont want to make it even worse
