Just wanted to let everyone know how awesome my girlfriend is. We just got an apartment and are both students so were pretty strapped for cash but she saved up and got me a skunk2 cat back exhaust for my birthday! this is the first real performance mod for my Fit and I'm psyched. She's really cute too so im double lucky. I hope you guys will show her some love.

It's really great to see our "significant others" support our hobbies.. no matter how expensive they may be.

Maybe... Just maybe... if things go well and you guys get engaged she can get you the T1R turbo kit like my fiance did!

 

She's a psych and sociology major and im going for business management and marketing... trying to get into the automotive field. I know its every "tuners" dream but i've found that hard work is what changes dreams into realities.

 

whee congratulations! i've got quite the girlfriend myself. she hasn't bought me anything for my car, but i don't really want her to either. haha i'm pretty picky with what i want for my car.

 

LOL... you're one lucky guy~ I had to compromise with my gf when I got the T1R Turbo by buying her a LV bag - kinda like "um hou fai" (Cantonese)

But then again, my gf is still awesome as she handles our home budget pretty well... so that I can just focus on my job (and occationally the fit)

She is a keeper for so many reasons! And she is so supportive... she has sat with me holding bolts on a lot of long nights working and cursing at my old car. your fiance sounds pretty damn cool too

 

Heh.. ya.. my fiance felt a little bad after she found out how much I spent on her engagement ring.. so the turbo was my engagement present from her..

Congrats on the gift! And on the support of your girl! Double bonus. I know support always helps. My husband has been into cars for years. His wedding gift to me was my dress and mine to him was his intercooler (he has a 2001 Grand Prix GTP). And I got him an XP Cam the year after. So hopefully he will return the favor in the near future.
