what to waste my money on

well i got 350-400$ to blow on the car. gimme some suggestions. right now im thinking tint, foglights, and some new headlamp bulbs. oh i have to replace my rear interior lights under the seats. i smashed one that fell out from under the front seat. after i put the seat down

i have plans to save for coilovers, wheels, and maybe a lipkit over the winter months. i dont really want to get any other suspension parts till the coilovers and nice wheels go on. id hate to waste a set of sway bars on poo tires.

Wheels and tires. Drop it later. I normally would say to drop it before the wheels and tires, but the dunlops suck too bad.

Yeah I would go spend the $200-$250 and drop the car then spend the rest and get tint.

My springs were $210.00 and Tinting cost me $211.00.

If you're going to get tint, scroll on down to the local forums and ask for what kind of prices people are getting for tint. Fitcapo paid $210 but I paid only $140 through a recommendation of someone on here (azncarbos). I'm sure there's even cheaper in some places.

Oh yeah, by the way, I got 35% tint all-around because of you, Fitcapo. :b

my boss had his matrix tinted for about 160 and its a good job, so i was gonna take mine to the same place.

btw i have the LX so theres hubcaps on there, dont think it will look good when lowered till i get some new wheels/tires. plus coil overs > springs cause i drive like a mad man.

Yeah I love the 35% all around it is dark enough to look good but not too dark. At night no a street with no lights seeing out the back windows is a big issue even with the 35% so that is one reason I am glad I didn't go darker but then again now that I have everything on my car black a darker tint would have looked better. Ohh well I am happy with my 35%

Most urgent mod

Tint, Baby, tint !

Our Fit air conditioners suck donkeys, as do all Honda A/C's. They could take a lesson from Toyota on what kind of A/C we Yanks like.

You could probably do both tires and springs for $400, which are the best mods I can possibly think of. Your enjoyment of the car will improve a LOT.

The stock tires are truly terrible. It's scary how little grip they have in the corners. Going to a nicer set will hugely improve steering feel and turn-in. Springs are a major improvement too. The Fit rolls and dives too much in stock form, especially on 14's.

The cheapest and most rewarding mod is 1/4" spacers for the wheels. Not only improves stance but also appears to fill out the gap between fender and tire. Best yet those spacers are available for about S20-25 per set. Make sure thread engagement is at least diameter of lugbolt.
After that you should work on wheels and tires, then suspension.

spacers sound nice that i think about it. the stockies do seem to be to narrow for the wheel wells. ill have to look into that.

i think thou im settled on just getting my tint as it seems im gonna have to move out of this apt sooner then expected. starting to get a bad mold problem in random spots and im not living in it.
