I am selling my Fit

Well after having my Fit for 2 years and 4 months I am moving on... I ordered a 2009 Mini Cooper S on my 21st birthday yesterday so I'm stickin' with the small car theme. I will miss the Fit and the community that is built around it here at fitfreak with all of it's knowledgeable and helpful members. Thanks guys!

Did you trade it in or private party sale?

I'm looking at selling because of the high demand for these cars and the premium people are willing to pay...

Doesn't mean that because you're selling your Fit you can't stay on FitFreak, if all your messages are like the one you just typed we'd be happy to have you back!

Hooray for MINI !

Good luck, Andy. I hope to have a MINI one day too, but I also hope to keep the Fit as my practical car and DD. You don't have to leave because you don't have a Fit anymore; there are lots of guys and gals here who have no Fits.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Grats man! I am jealous as I always wanted a Mini, but the thought of having 2 performance type cars in my garage would eat into my brain due to my being a little too practical. This is why I got the Fit even though I did look at the Cooper before I made my final choice. Maybe down the road...

The 07 will make its first return to the dealer this, its twelfth month of ownership. Pre-paid oil change when the computer says or @ 12 months under the pre-paid maintenance.

There hasn't been a need until now....

What's one cost?

Go to MINIUSA.COM and build your car. MSRP comes up and you won't be paying too much different from that in most cases. Few pay much less. Some pay a bit more.

If you were asking about the Mini vs the MINI (you said mini?) make your offer ..... everything is for sale. How actively are we negotiating is the question.....

A year ago (before the FIT entered my life) I test drove and seriously considered a MINI S. It was also a white one with black top. Classy looking! The price was just a little to much for my budget to absorb at the time - but one day I hope to own one as well.

Congratulations and I'm sure you will enjoy it! Motor on!!

Ditto, but there is nothing upscale that I like to replace it. I have looked at convertible Mini, but too small. Clubman, too ugly. VW Golf/GTI well maybe the new MkVI. Audi A3, less space than Golf (that's what I read, how the heck I don't know) and A3 no regular sunroof.

Clubman, too ugly

I saw one of these a couple of weeks ago and I thought I was having hallucinations of an overgrown Mini!!! I asked my 17 yo son "Is there some car that looks like a Mini on steroids?" and he told me it's called a Clubman. IT REEKS!!!! That is one of the nastiest looking cars I have ever seen! Maybe even worse than the convertible PT cruiser...The Mini was not meant to be blown up to 150%~!
