Honda released prices of 09 Fit today

Model description MSRP

8729ew m/t $14,550.00
8829ew a/t $15,350.00
8749ew sport m/t $16,060.00
8849ew sport a/t $16,910.00
8769gw sport vsa m/t w/nav $17,910.00
8869gw sport vsa a/t w/nav $18,760.00
I called Jim back about the destination charges and he said that was in the MSRP. At the bottom of the sheet he fax me it said destination and handling charges are $670, so I assume the prices were plus des but I was wrong.

This is no bs,I got a copy from my Honda dealer today.

So if you look at just the manual and the automatic... it looks about to be the same as the 07/08 prices. Possibly a little higher but not by much... unless you get the whole package and are spending close to 19K

not bad!

I like my 08 BBP so I'm not trading but I think the prices are kind from Honda. If you factored in the way the fit sells, the law of supply and demand and changes in the $/yen exchange rate I'd expect for the 09 prices to be even higher than these.

i doubt very highly that dealers are not gunna markup the new fit. theres gunna be hidden costs somewhere. with high gas prices + new model, sorry its just going to happen.

the M/T base model is $600 more than i paid for my M/T base. the A/T sport is $1300 more than my fiance paid for her A/T sport...

too over-priced. this is supposed to be an entry level car. they need to bump up minimum wage or drop the price for those poor kids trying to save up for one of these.

thats "a whole nother" topic for "a whole nother" thread, but raising the minimum wage is not the answer.

Don't think it includes destination; if it did that means for example the 09 base mt is cheaper than the 08 model.

Vehicle Stability Assistance. Basically Honda's Traction control system. I really want VSA but don't want the NAVI. Lame that there bundling the two together.

ugg...dont mention the hybrid it wont work here in the states.

i mean its not that much more than the 07-08 i mean u cant expect them to say hey we wont charge u anymore than last gens modle but were gonna give u a bunch of new stuff too.

I guess i am just gonna trade in my 07 and get a '63 Peel P50 and call it a day. =)

Yeah prices look good.
Im happy with the tiny increase, the car is better in everyway so that little price jump is not much at all.

Im totally eye balling a TW Sport 5speed Nav...heh.
