Its always super hard for people that own a current gen in anything to like the newer one. It will probably grow on everyone. Its still a FIT. I cant wait to see one in person.

I still prefer the GD3 styling for sure, but the new Fit is growing on me slowly. It's nice to see a dead pedal now. I like the idea of shorter gear ratios in the MT. I might have to do a tranny swap (I wonder if the transmission housing is the same, i could probably just swap the gear sets). but the new "real" vtec L15 sounds nice. Maybe I need the new motor too...

Overall, the new Fit is going to be better. I just know it as its MORE car.
I just find it really ugly, thatll probably never change.

I like the door handles. Hehh

I dunno, in these pics, the new Fit looks pretty good. Different from the '08, "meaner" I think I'd characterize it. I Definately could see myself getting one if I didn't already have one.

Dunno about the new shade of blue, though.

yeah, but they somewhat "trick" you with the i-vtec

i'm pretty sure it's not the VTAK like we all know and love
it's like econo vtec right?

sorry if i'm wrong,
i don't specialize in the 09's

I want one more and more the more i look....Ahhhhhh!
Man, seems like they are super great cars, just read the article..That interior bomb over current interior. Prices are not bad, and belive it or not, i like the front end heh. That cool lip thingy sticking out look sexy.

These things slammed will look plan amazing.

Overall i think this car is leaps and bounds better then 07-08 from what i can see.

It would be funny for someone to get the gd4 and redo the body to make it appear as a gd3. that would be pure sex.

the car is actually looking surprisingly good in those pics... it just seems there aren't enough real pictures of the 09 out yet, and honda's official pictures don't do it justice..

i went from hating it to having mixed feelings now.

looks like they're sticking with the cheap carpet
i like everything about the interior... if i had the new interior with the gd3 exterior i would be so happy

I like the looks of it mostly on the outside, but not as much as what I have now. Big turn off to me are the large wing windows in the front. And the mirrors look like they are mounted on twigs. The aero/lights and body seems pretty sweet.

But the inside doesn't really do it for me! Have to dig that the most... since thats where I will spend most of my time.

The steering wheel controls for the radio are a plus along with the overhead lights (is that a little console?).

What about the console? Has that been changed.. as in.. is there a center console? Didn't see any pix or writeup on that.

But I think the rest of the dash looks funny. The gauges look deeply set in, and I'm pretty sure the controls for the heat/AC was designed for functionality... b/c it's kinda spread out and unattractive!

And I liked the colorless fabric on the last generation... this reminds me of something out of my buddies 93 Escort... ew..

Now, I don't mean any offense to the guys here who are going to buy one.. I just wanted to express that it's not my cup o' tea.
