I'm curious also. My Fit goes in the garage everyday, but my fiance's is outside.

I have used the OEM Honda Fit car cover for 1 1/2 years. It fits perfectly and works perfectly. I don't use it in the winter, because rain and snow are not going to harm the paint- just tree sap and bird crap in the spring/summer. The car cover prevents damage from those.

I have covered my Fit during the summer for last 2 1/2 years but did not buy it from Honda.
I measured the car and went to Walmart and got one for $40.

The Fit car cover that comes from Honda is very high quality, very heavy duty, and made for an exact fit (even has a little condom for the antenna). But like the other posters said, many manufacturers make covers that will work fine on your Fit, and they cost a lot less than the OEM one. I bought my OEM one from an eBay vendor for around $150.00. You can pay even more than that for some after-market covers, but many cost less than half the OEM eBay price.
