Imagine a Honda Fit Convertible
pt = barf
It just doesn't make sense to do a Fit convertible. It would lose everything that makes the Fit such a versatile car. No more hatch, no more rear cargo area, etc. The Civic would be a much better platform to go ragtop with. Not to mention what would have to be a better looking result as well.

Apparently Juliane has nothing better to do - she has over 160 posting to this site alone. For Allah's sake!

I meant the photoshopped Fit with no roof, not the thread itself, dude, don't get your shorts in a knot.
From a design standpoint I'll give it props. Though I'd have to agree on it looking a little strange. Still better that a PT convert that people are comparing it to.
From a reality standpoint I'd have to say not gonna happen except as someone's custom project.
Honda will never do this. For the design shown, the car would have to be reinforced like mad. Adding weight, killing what performace we have. Increasing cost, an putting the model out of the "econo" line that Honda has it in. Same reason why we have never seen a Civic convertible, and never will.
