How are the headlights?

Forgive the noob, but I'm going to repost my question here.
How are the OEM headlights?
Bright? Good beam pattern?
Thnx,
Moon

well the fit headlights has a 55 watts bulb I'd say it's just the same as most of the OEM headlights. light output is not that great for me that is why I'm running HID's and also most of the fit owners in this forum.

Never really care about the OEM bulb brightness since HIDs are so cheap to get and easy to install =\

I personally am fine with the OEM lights. They're better than those on any of my previous cars.
You can outrun ("over-drive") your headlights on any car, so be mindful of that.

Uhhh, how cheap is cheap for the HIDs?
I want an economical car, not a hobby.
I can always upwattage the bulbs...
Are the OEMs run thru' relays?

I think the lights are pretty good. They're much better the than the lights in my old Saab.

I'd have to agree, my headlights are fine, the cutoff is sharp (for halogens) and the spread is nice, no need for HID's

I'm used to adjusting lights (had the aero lights in my bride's unlamented Sable cranked over so far that the car looked damaged...).
Anyway, I usually solve headlight probs by replacing them with E-codes...easy in a round eye Jeep.
I also wired relays into the J, which made the high output bulbs work ever so much better...
So, are the OEM lights thru relays, or will I have to install some?
