Seibon and Fittuner.com review

I purchased a carbon fiber hood for my fit through Honda Fit Tuner and I was really pleased with the transaction and the hood itself. The hood came in 4 days, it was well packaged, they gave me a car air freshener, and gave me some decals. (I know thats not huge but it was a nice little surprise). As for the hood it was flawless and bolted on in 10 minutes. I would really recommend going through this company or just getting a Seibon hood. I was really pleased.

Im not sure if this helps anyone but I thought i would just write it up in case people were wondering.

Thats good to hear. Ive dealt with them as well and was very pleased with the service. Just a heads up to the people reading this, he is referring to hondafittuner.com not fittuner.com

nice, i was thinking about lightening up the front end a little since the weight distribution on the fit is front heavy. so the install was easy?

ive never owned a cabon fiber hood before so how is it opening and closing? any input is appreciated

You can actually pay a lot less if you go in and ask. I got it for good amount but at the same time I bought the hood and spoiler at the same time.

i think i paid $500 (roughly) and it was like $100 for shipping. The install cost me $40 from my Honda dealer. I didnt wanna mess with the hood myself, better off to leave it to the pro's. But the guys at the dealer said it came right on and Seibon was the best brand i could have bought. Price was a little steep i guess but I wanted to make sure I got a good product. If i can get my camera working i'll post pics tommorrow but no guarantee. I lost the usb plug from my camera to my comp. >.<

Oh, the install took the guys 10 minutes i think and it opens/closes the same way the stock one does. To close it, it takes a little more effort cuz it is lighter. I used to just drop my hood to close, but this 1 i kinda have to push down.

Hondafittuner.com is good. They are out of San Deigo i know the owner. And if u go to them in person u might be able to get a better deal. Vinney the owner is a great guy i love his air freshiner. He has a sick fit to the white one. Oh and a sick integra. that is where i got all my stuff for the fit till i moved to FL oh and all the stuff for the EVO. i rock them he is one of the best guys i have to deal with if u have any problem with anything of his he takes care of it with no problems

Awesome, i might get it and see if I can do it myself instead of spending that little extra money, time, and gas getting it installed. Seems straight forward anyway.

thanks

From what I hear You must trim on the lip. Near the foglights. Because the lip was designed off a Base model.
