Fit suspension design?

Is it true the fit uses a torsion beam in the rear? Wouldn't this be inferior to wishbones? I know honda was thinking flat floor design but who would choose a flat floors over suspesion performance?

I searched and found this..my main question is where does Honda place the tie rod ends..are they attached to the actual shock like the DC5 and EP3?
