Boy racer body cladding

Sure hope there is a way to get most of the "sport" features (cruise, remote entry, fog lights) without the goofy, low rent body cladding - ugh!

There would probably be a nice secondary market for these items. Some base folks would like the bling. Anyone else think fleabay?

Actually, I bet if you wanted to buy that "goofy, low rent body cladding" from Honda, it would probably cost more than a decent after market body kit. So based on that you could probably get a decent price (less than the price of new) from someone who likes "goofy, low rent body cladding", and they would think they were getting a good deal.

I'm sure you can part it out piece by piece, although you will pay an arm and a leg for it.

Personally I like the "boy racer body cladding". If you don't, you can change it.

I would agree that the stock "sport" body kit is pretty tame...but then most kits offered direct from the dealership usually are.

One of the few features that would sway me to the "sport" model is the tap shift...because I think that would make everyday driving just a little more fun. Other than that, I will be getting the base model and taking matters into my own hands.

Items like fog lights / remote entry / "sport" badging are not big enough incentives for me to drop an extra few $grand. However, show me a moonroof and I will be sold!!!!!!!

Yes no moon roof is a bummer - I'm sure we'll be able to compare "after - market" notes on the right one after these babies are out

To each their own on the aero stuff, I just hope to have the option of an "EX" type equipment level as on the Civic - all the options (cruise #1, remote entry, etc) but without the aero stuff.
