Things you wished the FIT had

Ok guys and gals i thought this would be a good topic. i will start this off

1. Wished the Fit had a 6th gear on it
2. Wished the Fit had a stock turbo

I know the MPG would go down. But i just want a little turbo like the one in the GTI. Share what you guys think thanks

1. More power and low end torque
2. A Steptronic style shift for the autos (slide over pull/push for gear change)
3. Independent suspension all around
4. Disk brakes with 4 piston calipers all around
5. All wheel drive for the USDM models
6. Thicker paint
7. Full size spare

And last but not least

8. A trunk monkey.

i just wish it had a 6th gear, and not necessarily a turbo, just a better engine.

It is crying for 6th gear. The RPMs are a little high at cruising speed on the highway.

Yes i feel the same

Yea the Fit started out as a econo car. But than they marked them way up do to good sales. I think for the price they could have gave us the arm rest, 6th gear, and better seats. I love the Fit but i payed 18,300 for it thats not a econo car. Oh yea i want megan fox in my car to

ooh, good topic. i think the current Fit is a fairly good value, as long as you're able to get it at invoice.

i would, however, like to see an SI trim Fit with the following:
1) more power! nothing crazy that would cannibalize their SI sales but something along the lines of a modern, 1.6L i-VTEC DOHC engine with 160hp like the b-series of yore.
2) better cloth interior
3) better/stronger interior plastics
4) more aggressively valved shocks
5) lower stance
6) lighter wheels
7) stickier rubber
8) front driver and passenger bucket seats
9) factory sway bars
10) front & rear double wish-bone suspension
11) LSD!!!!!!!
12) front & rear disk brakes
13) smaller diameter steering wheel
14) a functional lip/valance kit and spoiler - exclusive to the SI trim only
15) paint that's thicker than a single sheet of rice paper

THAT's a Fit i wouldn't mind paying 20k for
