Torrington Honda Sucks !!!
Ok well i got my fit (2009 BSP mt ) on nove 5th three days later i called and told them i hate the seats and dont have enough leg room and want to trade for a civic ex mt ... so what do the do offer me the civic for $18,900 and will give me $14,500 for my fit !!! WTF i payed 17,200 otd for the fit and to top it off the sales told me i would lose only $ 600 - 700 on the trade over the phone . Another thing was the sales man cused out my father on the lot with people watching very unprofesional !!!!!!! So If In CT dont buy from torringto honda go to lia in enfield or hoffman in simsbury .. They bolth offered me $15,300 - 15,500 for the fit and the civic ex for $18,266
Do you blame them? you JUST bought a car, the second you drive it off the dealer's lot, it immediately loses thousands of dollars in value.
You should have test-driven both cars thoroughly before making your final decision... it doesn't excuse whatever (alleged) unprofessional beahavior they may be guilty of, but there's also no excuse for not being a savvy consumer. I'm not blaming anyone else because I traded my 1 and a half month old Chevy Aveo to get the Fit when it hit US dealers at the end of April back in 2006...
My mother and i have both been going to Torrington Honda for over 20 years, she never had any issues with the two cars she has purchased there, and we both have never had any issues with the four cars we have gotten serviced there (87 Civic she bought from Executive Honda in Wallingford, 95 civic from T-Town honda as well as her 04 Element, and I got my 07 Fit from Hoffman out in Avon). You might have just hit a "series of unfortunate events" as it were...
Side note: If you ever get service at the Torrington Honda, request Glenn. He's the best guy they have in their garage.
