I crashed my car and I am sad.

Someone made a left turn right in front of me and I hit them pretty hard. I'm OK as is the woman who left turn'd me and her children. I'm pretty bummed out about my car though. I'm pretty sure she's totalled...

Sorry to hear. Good thing it's not your fault and I hope your insurance takes care of you.

sorry to see that... but look the bright side - at least she will be totaled. someone else on this board got hit and the insurance company won't call it a total. and once hit the car is less likely to be the same and its resale value will dip. at least you don't have to worry about that. i do hope you had a good insurance policy though. when i bought my insurance i asked for a gap coverage since i took a loan. the gap coverage is only about 10 bucks a year, so it's definitely worth having.

Sorry to hear that, but glad everybody is okay. Did the front and side curtain airbags deploy?

Sorry to hear that I know the feeling all too well. Mine was his a little worse than that and they totalled it. I was glad because I didn't want the car fixed. It would never had been the same.

I'm glad both you and the other driver and passengers were not injured. Did the airbag hurt you?

Sorry to hear about your car, but it looks like it's time to move on to the GE.
I Lost a fit before, but this was still when the GE's weren't out yet so i upgraded from a auto to a stick.

GOOD LUCK

Side curtain airbags did not deploy, and I had no injuries or burns from the airbag.

I'm definitely going to push for them to total it, with as much damage as it has if they fixed it the thing probably wouldn't drive the same again...

As far as new cars...I feel more awkward than Judas at the Last Supper by saying this to you all FitFreakers, but I've been eyeing me a Civic coupe with a manual. Would cost a bit more but I'm hoping with the sorry state of the U.S. economy there might be a dealer willing to...well, deal a little to get a sell.

its okay man i know how you feel man i too got into a car accident with my Fit and it was totaled but hey dont give up on it trust me thats the last thing you want to do... i never give up on my fit and its turn out super sick =DDD do you have GAP insurance? just buy the car back and fix the damage(s) (JDM FRONT END) i know its gonna cost you alot but hey itll be well worth it trust me on this one...

PS
you see the picture down there of my fit... thats the side that got got into the accident and look at it now =) you know what... put it more this way okay... i love the crap out of my FIT its actually my FIRST actual car cuss before ive always been driving my brothers and sisters cars... but yah anyways.. i guess if you want to move on you can but for my story i love it soo much all i wanted was to get it back so when i got it back i fix the damages and i make it look super nicer/sicker.. the stickers and other stuffs werent there at that time it was all stock dropped with some C10s =P with my rep spoon tail.... but yah i bought it back... my INSURANCE PAID 12g for it since i bought it back(suppose to be 15g) then my GAP INSURANCEs gonna pay for the rest of the car =) so basically i got away with a FIT for 7800 only(so far only paid 2800 on it and took out 5g to fix it) =) if you want to know more about my story i can tell you jsut let me know but yah thats basically my story =P if you love it as much as i did... then buy it back and get a JDM front end for it.. =P thats what i would of done =P

good luck with whatever youre gonna do
