What is the dumbest thing you have seen someone doing in a car. I have seen people eating out of bowls (twice) with a spoon (no hands on wheel). A guy playing the guitar, and of course, people reading books!

I am sure there are worse offenders.

 

other than my own stupid doings in past years (wont go there...) some moron in a POS CRX swerving infront of a Semi on the highway... i joke not he had INCHES clearence... had the semi hit him.... well would not have ben pretty...

 

i saw this idiot in a black and white dodge charger the other day. he had some kind of super-rice flashing lights bolted to the top of his car. anyway, when people saw this guy with his flashing lights, they'd pull over and yell at the guy, and the guy would give them a little yellow slip of paper, presumably an apology for driving such an ugly car.

the worst i've seen was on my way to the bay area. THE DRIVER WAS SLEEPING and his PASSENGER was steering the car!!! i guess it was in cruise or something, it was the most dangerously funny thing i've ever seen on the road to date

 

I've seen this too. I hope they realize what will happen when the airbag goes off. I see passengers with their feet on the dash and I wonder if they know there is an airbag there!

 

I saw a driver with a drum stick (not the chicken kind, the wooden kind) in each hand, playing away on his dashboard.

 

Man, I was hoping this thread would be about dumbest interior accessories. In that case I was going to mention people who install massive 9" tachometers when their car already has a stock tach. Bonus points if it's an automatic.

Astromattical: Maybe he just had drum sticks so he could park in handicapped parking spaces? (A little drummer humor there...)

I have actually seen a person "texting" on their phone while driving.

I agree on the massive tachometer. It is pointless and just a waste of money.

 

Saw some chick reading a damn book, holding it in the middle of her steering wheel. WTF.

 

didn't actually see the lady changing and putting pants on while driving but I knew she was doing it because after she rear-ended my fathers pickup truck, thats what she told the cops.

 

I hate when I forget to take the pickles off my burger(s) before pulling away from the drive-through.

Oh, wait! This is about what I saw OTHER people do.

 

I saw a guy watching TV while driving. He had the TV propped up on the dash covered with a towel to hide it. Problem was this was at night so the light from the TV made it obvious what he was doing.

 

People (usually a guy driving their presume gf) with a puppy (those cute/fluffy thingie) sitting on his lap... I wonder what happens if the dog pees or decide to go into rage and bite the driver's crouch =\

govenor schwarzeneger was going to pass a law saying people cant drive with dogs on their laps but he passed it up and passed stricter smog laws and the notorious no chit chatting on the cell phone while driving.

dumbest thing ive done is recieve sexual favors while driving. my mind was NOT on driving safely.

dumbest things ive seen done are a girl painting her toe nails with her foot on the dash, some kid playing psp, crackhead smoking crack, and lastly, ive seen a guy going on the freeway with his door open, foot out of the door dragging his foot on the pavement. only in oakland hahaha
