Ace body structure. What is it? Will Fit get it?
I already searched and am confused as to what the "ace" body structure is? Why does the Civic have it and the Fit does not? After looking at the Fit pricing I know it has nothing to do with cost

Next gen Fit will definitely be built with the ACE body structure.
Here is what Honda defines ACE as:
"Honda's unique Advanced Compatibility Engineering(TM) (ACE)(TM) body structure, which offers enhanced occupant protection, is being applied to all entirely new vehicle platforms in the U.S. and globally over the next five to six years. The ACE structure enhances collision energy management by increasing the area where two frames may connect in a collision and then dispersing that force through more load bearing components compared to traditional body construction."

ACE is a great thing to have especially when driving a smaller vehicle like the Fit.

most vehicles have a frame that goes underneath the car. the civic's and even the odyssey's frame extends up into the fenders to help disperse impact from higher vehicles.
the fit will not have ace
