Canadian Fit Gets 49mil/gal

Canadian Fit Gets 49mil/gal

Just checked out the Fit In Vancouver, Canada. and realize the Fit gets 35mil/gal city and 49mil/gal HWY. if this is ture we're getting better mile per gal then then the US Fits. check out the photo I took off the sticker.

Not sure whats up with that... The Can Fit gets the same engine that the US gets so the fuel economy is the same. The picture you provided is very blurry so I can't even read what the numbers mean.

That would be Imperial gallons, would it not? 1 Imperial gallon = 4.5 liters. 1 U.S. Gallon = 3.8 liters. Still, that would come out to about 39 mpg highway.

Yes, when someone says mpg in Canada, its imperial gallons. Mostly they go by litres/100km

Damn! And here I thought it was because we have a nation of people that were lighter in weight. Joke to my overweight relatives down south who commented on my lil' paunch belly when they were shorter than I was yet weighed my equivalent and had asses bigger than me.

hmmm that is interesting... Maybe the #'s have been bumped up from Honda
