Haha, this post made me laugh. It's written as if Honda dealerships were giving out free netbooks with the purchase of a Fit.
"Alright sir, your paperwork has been completed, here are the keys to your new Honda, and....oh yes! Here is your complimentary Dell Mini-9 Netbook. Enjoy!."
Needless to say, I don't own any sort of netbook so I can't comment.
Edit: Talk about a great incentive, though. Instead of giving rebates, why don't more dealers throw in free laptops? Might be a bit impractical, and call for deals to be made between car and computer companies, but I'd imagine it would draw in more college aged buyers.

Your whole post made me LOL for some reason. Especially the thought of, say, a company like Chrysler as the car company to trailblaze a computer partnership - "Chrysler and Gateway", together at last!"
