YES, Got my Fit!!!

Got her this morning 9AM sharp. So happy, love it. The stock stereo is better then I thought. Played a CD and was impressed on the way home. At 100km/h the tach is right on 3000. Here are some pics!

Congratulations!

Great color choice.

Tell us about your impression of the ride and handling.

Nice color, but if it were mine, I'd remove the dealer decals ASAP (detracts from overall appearance, IMO). When I buy a new car, I tell the dealer, "No decals, please."

Well, coming from a 1995 Cavalier (Yes I know, that's sad) all I can say is that it's great, nice and tight. But look what I have to compare it too!!

No, one height only.

Actually, the 2007 Fit is kilometers ahead of that old Cavalier in terms of handling.

Seems like each day, a new one is purchased. My Milano Red is almost here. Congrats on your fit.

I agree, take the dealer decal off or better yet have the dealer do it. Also don't use the dealer license plate frame. I hate that. I've seen cars that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars have a geniric black plastic frame with ungly white writing. We are alreday giving the dealerships so much money, the least they could do is not exploit our new babies.

Thanks for the pictures. If my dealer doesn't pull one over on me, that's the same car they have coming and it has my name on it.

Definitely Congrats!

Man, I really wish we had the Alabaster Silver option in the USA!

You know what... when I was at Carter Honda in Vancouver, they had an Alabaster Silver Sport and a Storm Silver LX... under direct sunlight, I couldn't tell the difference. One was sold and driven off that day, and the other I test drove, so I didn't actually see them side by side.

However, until I looked at the sticker, the Storm Silver looked very similar to the Alabaster - so I don't think you're missing much down in the US

Storm Silver is much darker than Alabaster Silver.

It is not
I saw BOTH IN PERSON within 90 minutes of each other, under direct sunlight, it's nowhere near as big a difference as the brochure claims

EDIT: In fact, for my own Fit, I will tell the dealer to give me the first one they have in either Storm Silver or Alabaster Silver. There's really not that much difference between the two

I disagree. I've seen both colors side by side at the dealer and they are far from the same.

Here is a better copy of the color chart. This one comes directly from the pdf brochure at Honda Canada website:

I've test driven the Storm Silver MT today, and there is Alabaster Silver in the showroom.

IMO Storm Silver looks like a Charcoal Grey to me.
