Canadian Accessories Wish List

After scanning the various official honda fit/jazz websites around the world, I've come up with my own accessories wish list for items that should have been available at Canadian Honda dealers:

- armrest
- roof console
- body side trims (colour matching door guards)
- bluetooth phone system

Anybody else see official accessories available elsewhere but not here and want to add to the list?

The passenger isn't supposed to care about what *they* look like ... they're just supposed to sit there and admire the driver of the Fit, for having made such a smart car choice!

Now, if I'm having to do that, it's obvious I've already blown my chances of getting any

In the Australian accessories brochure there is a liner for the entire hatch area and up the back of the seats. It is a vinyl liner which stays in place even when the seats are folded down. Being a dog owner, this would be ideal. Thanks for asking.
Cheers.

Honda calls that the 'Magic Mat'....if you really really want to get one, I can give you the name and # of a Honda dealer in the UK that's willing to post here, but it's not cheap. I was quoted £72 + £3.50 postage and you have to factor in duty and taxes in case it gets checked by customs..

Is this what you were meaning?

http://www.honda.co.jp/dog/accessory/mat/index.html

I think it is great that Honda would take the time and effort to
create a site just for dogs and their company's cars.
I take my hat off to them that they even thought of fur-kids at
all.

Even though most of us can't read what it says, just click on any
link, lots of diff. dogs and pictures. Looks like they were good
actors, too. LOL

No. If you do a google search of Ultra Mat or Magic Mat you should be able to find it.

Cheers.

Those are ok if you always want to keep the seats up. For me, I like to fold the seats down and let me dog have more room especially when going away for a weekend.

You live in Burnaby. Do you have your Fit yet?

cheers

Wow, that's great. I am going to get a black sport auto from Pacific Honda in North Van. You paid MSRP but got the floor mats and cargo net thrown in?

How do you like the paddle shifters? What is the fuel economy you are getting?

Cheers.

Yup, MSRP with the mats and net thrown in.

I actually had to go back to the dealer for a couple of things as they missed it when they delivered it to me. On the rear hatch, the plastic panel has a hole in it so you can get to something behind there. Normally there's a plug that goes in it to cover the hole, mine was missing. Also, when they installed the mats, they only installed the hooks for the drivers side and not the passenger side. Went back and had that all installed.

Don't really know how many KMs I get right now as I've only drive just over 200kms on it!! still haven't filled it and have more than half a tank left.

When you say hooks, what do they look like, can I get some from the dealer?
I used mats from another car and had to take the driver's out it slid around too much when getting in. Bght. a pantsaver and it slides around also.
