I mistyped this website and have learned that on occisaon the website

fitfreaks.com will put a virus onto your computer. I am having our vendor analyze this virus for us so I don't know exactly what it does.

in short there is a link on that page to:

***h**p://images.sitesense-oo.com/***

which is really the payload. So far this payload does the following:

Greys out the task manager when you do a CTRL-ALT-DEL
Prevents changes to the registry
Put an autorun.inf file on all of your drives to run a virus in x:\recycler

 

that sucks.

yeah and dont goto honda-tech.net either! kinda the same deal. i was so used to typing fitfreak.net that when i went to honda-tech i put .net instead of .com and it's like a redlight district porn site!

 

You get a different strain of virus from porn sites, nudge nudge.
