First day with a new Fit Basic MT
Great car - not a thing wrong ! Minor items I would have liked included:
1. A real 5 th gear that would keep the RPM's at 60 mph at 2,000 instead of 3,000
2. A fuel filler door inside opener
3. A temperature guage
4. A MPG guage
5. A reclining 40% of the back seat to make into a bed with the front seat reclined
6. LRR tires like the Bridgestones on the Insight
The car rides, handles, functions like a champ - looks like first tank will be close to 40 MPG.
BTW all 4 my dealer got were gone the first day.

No I don't mean to lay the front seats down- unless you like a 8 inch lump on your bed. I mean to put the front seats forward towards the dash and use the cargo and flat back seat to lay. Your feat can hange between the back seat and the front seat (head towards hatch and feet towards front). Maybe?
The fuel door doesnt have a open lever inside because it isnt a locked door, it is open at all times. Purchasing a lockable gas cap is an option if you dont mind having to carry around an extra key on your keyring and having to manually open it each time you fill up.
There's no locking gas cap on the Sport version, either. But you can buy one for the low, LOW price of $30-35.
The tire has stamped on it SP37 A/S - I could not locate it either on Dunlops website. I was trying to find out if it was LRR and what the Mu was - the Bridgestone Potenza's on my Insight are .0062 according to Green Seal while the best Dunlop was .0092 not very close. Anyway after trying a bunch ot tires on the Insight there was a huge difference in gas mileage and functioning of the vehicle. Check out Green Seal 's site. Ted

Funny, but probably true!
