Honda has updated their site!

As of 11pm on 4/19/2006, Honda has FINALLY updated their site with the build and price info. Click on the picture below, to go there.

It still has the stupid aliens, though.

I used a program, called "Snagit" to grab the section of the page I wanted to capture, then reduced the size and sharpened it in PaintShopPro, THEN posted it to my CarSpace.com album... pulled the link and added to my post. Voila!

or simply press your print screen button up above your home, end, delete, pg up, pg dwn keys, and then go open up windows paint or PS or whatever pic editing program, and paste the screen shot. SUper easy hehe.

Print screen alone takes a snapshot of your whole screen.
alt print screen takes a snapshot of the selected (front) window only.
once you hit the button the pic goes to the clipboard. paste it with about any photo editing software and save.

The last button points to "request a quote", where your specs are sent to a local dealer. They would then contact you with a price, and if they have the car you're looking for. If they don't, they usually say they can search for the car in the specs you want, or try to upsell you to something else they have on their lot.

Wonderful site now compared to before-- I even like some of its feature better than the honda.ca site. I built it, got a quote (automatically for MSRP--to fight SF bay area potential price-gouging added markup when I order at the dealer), and set up a local test drive for Saturday-- let the fun begin!

I looked at it very carefully in the "colors" section, and it's the same as the Fit brochure-- base white is only the two-tone beige/black, but sport white can have that or all-black (actually looks like black/gray). The milano red is beige/black in base, but black in sport version. The more straightforward presentation is in the "build my Fit" section.

In the build your fit section I can configure it to be a base model in either white or red and have the choice between tan/black or black interiors. don't know why but thats how it is for me. And the choice is definetly there, because for example blue only has a black interior or silver only has the tan/black.
