What gas brand do you use

Just wondering if there's a particular brand any of you use for better gas mileage or performance.

I've been using Shell's new gas lately, I got about a 1-2 better from that last 3 fillups.

There's a similar thread here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...d-matters.html

I've had my Fit for less than a week so haven't had to fill up yet (but it's already at half tank ... can't stop driving this thing, it's so much fun!), but I'll probably use Shell or PetroCan.

you don't need to use a higher octane than your car is rated for, it's just a waste of cash unless your car requires it

I use kwikfill bc its one of the only that does not have ethanol in my area. kwikfill also calms that their gas is 100% domestic, which, i guess, makes me a good american.

I use either Shell or BP. Only reason is its close by and convenient. And use 89 octane. (Regular)

Whatever is cheapest. Unless you can find a zero-ethanol station in your area, it's all the same. Been tracking my mileage for every tank for the past 9 years, and have never been able to find a statistically significant difference from one brand to another.

Funny - I was just trying to read the Top Tier Gas website yesterday (it was down) - and it's still down???

Anyway - read up about Top Tier Gas. You'll find plenty of blogs that have half the people saying that it's bunk - the other half saying they will only put Top Tier fuel in their car.

I'm one of the latter group - I try to stick with Chevron/Shell when I can get to it...(I prefer Chevron)

Speedway 87 octane ~99% of the time.

When I bought the FIT, the salesman said "DO NOT USE BP!"

When I bought the motorcycle, the salesman said "DO NOT USE BP!"
