My Fit: The second class citizen
I don't know about you guys, but I am getting treated like a total second class citizen when it comes to dyno shops.
If I do manage to get a hold of them they hear "FIT" and pretty much zone out from lack of interest and I never hear back. Even chasing and hounding isn't working anymore... I barely get any responces back and I even had one shop ask me which day I wanted to book in an e-mail and then space out on 3 responces only to blow me off on the phone the day before
I just don't get it, I am able and willing to pay the same rate as bigger more interesting cars; it is like they pick and choose thier clients around this city.

I have a fancy tuning system and all these aftermarket parts, I was hoping to break 100whp this time around. It may seem trivial, but if I have the bucks I don't know why it matters to the shops.
but some shops are run by more emotional folks that are kinda stubborn at times where they will only let you do things by your appearance or cool factor.
so i guess you're not cool enough my friend.
jk find another shop.
Tran said "too SOON, junior" get it right!!!! I <3 F&F and I'm dead serious
I liked how they call it "honda 2000" in the movie like 3 times. There's a ****ing S in front of 2000, jackasses.
And on topic, nobody cares about Fits. Nobody. I get zero respect on NJTuners.com because I drive a Fit. Everyone thinks I'm a ricer because of my green wheels and valve cover.

oh shitz...sorry. been like 5yrs since that first FF i couldnt recall clearly.
most tuners are kinda weird. to be a really really good tuner, you have to be nothing short of a mathematical genius. and with genius comes crazy. i dont have trouble getting dyno appointments but i usually take the time to go in a week or two beforehand and talk with the tuner about my goals and whatever other situations that would be prudent to tuning my car. i think you just have to get them face to face and let them know what the deal is.

hey Phreak,
They might of had a long Alberta winter with little to do but pound their puds and now all hell is breaking loose and customer service can be a lost art.
Kelso probably has the best advice, just get in their face and be hard to ignore.

Even if it did rev up that high, I'm not even sure if it would make any power past 6k.
But I'm not even sure about anything I just said. I know nothing about anything.
8k rpm??
I know somewhere on this forum was a stock Fit dyno graph and it was apparent power dropped dramatically just under 6k. So even taking a Fit up to the rev limiter is pointless because there's no power up there.

<= too early junior!
