I realize the Fit has a weird sized glove box, and making it bigger would require re-engineering the whole dash. However, the Owner's Manual (at least the US version) just barely goes into the glove box, and takes up more room than it should because it won't lay flat. If the Owner's Manual was a little smaller, it would fit into the glove box much better. Admittedly, this is picky. But if you're going to build an undersize glove box, it would be more deluxe if the factory paperwork would at least fit inside it properly.

compartment. fits perfectly and the glove box is
empty to do as i please.

 

Thanks. I must have had a brain freeze, 'cause I've been wondering what to I could put under the seat, and that sounds like an excellent use for the space.

thats weird. my US version manual fits just fine in my glove compartment...infact i have a hard time finding it in there sometimes! (not that my glove box is a mess, it isnt. just got a lot of books and some envelopes in there) but yeah...mine fits great....? may be they jipped you on your glove compartment...hahah
