95pence per litre here for standard unleaded. (~$1.74USD)
£1 for premium (~$1.84USD)
Both per litre.
So if we were to fill in the same amount as a US gallon which equates to roughly 3.7 litres. It costs us rougly about $6.44 for 1 gallon for standard unleaded and about $6.81 for 1 gallon of premium unleaded.

$3.29 for 93 Octane.
I really don't see gas prices as such a big deal as the news media makes it out to be. All things considered, the US still has fairly inexpensive gas prices when compared to Europe and Japan. It'll probably hit $4 per gallon for Premium by the end of the summer, but other places in the world, some people are paying $7 per gallon.
