I'll buy a Fit when you
1.make the steering wheel telecscope 2.the seat height adjust and 3.the fuel door lock (and open remotely of course).
A CVT auto and the aux jack on the base stereo would help too.

well, i'd bet the fuel door thing gets fixed for '08 new model or not. probably not the seat and steering wheel though, although honestly i think seat height and steering wheel telescope should be federally mandated safety features.

I saw the new Dodge Caliber lastnight. Wow them sum ugly car. Noisy as hell too, just like any lower end domestic. That car looked like a mini tank. One fugly mofo.

If you wait long enough then you can save on tyres as they will be a hover car and no longer run on petrol.
Adjustable pedals are starting the be introduced here on a number of new cars which also helps with a more comfy driving position togther with the seat forward and rear tilt, adjustible lumber support, built in massager and footrest. But you kind of expect those things when your spending $150,000 not $15,000...

I pretty much like the car the way it is.. it handles nice, stops nice, accelerates nice.. I need to talk to someone about the braking (never had anti-locks so that maybe it..) but it's almost squirly.. I may have my mech go drive it and see what he thinks..being he and his brother race cars. And if there is a issue have honda deal with it.. anyway..
There isn't much I would change with the fit cept I wish there was somewhere to stick a trash bag.. other than hanging it around the shifter.. and I could use a few more pockets IN the front and back. (I know it's not a element) but minor stuff. grin.. but it seriously scoots when you need it to.

- Hybrid engine yielding 60+ Mpg
- RW disk brakes*
- Center arm rest/console*
- More than a choice of 5 basic colors* See http://www.honda.co.jp/Fit/color/index.html
*These are items honda offers for the Fit in other markets In fact, sometime I wonder if Honda didn't deliberately cripple the Fit to prevent canibalizing Civic sales here There are few technical reasons why any option offered oversees couldn't be offered here.
I'd like to have:
- sunroof
- 6sp manual transmission or CVT
- AWD
