Sunglasses, a tin of Altoids in the almost pointless cubby near the fuse box, a few books for boredom, half a dozen lighters scattered throughout, a small surgical hammer meant for breaking bones in surgery (in case I go off a bridge and end up under water. But I have no water anywhere near me), iPod, small inverter, lotion for new tattoos, pens/paper, back-up CDs, jumper cables. Nothing very useful, really.

In the front a head set for my cell phone and charger. Also my CD holder -in the back of the passenger seat an umbrella, lint brush and soft lambs wool brush for quick wipe downs on the interior. In the cargo area is a detailing box with windshield cleaner, Megs Instant Detailer (for those bird accidents), several microfiber towels, tire gauge, ice scraper, Rain-x wipes, flashlight, my OEM radiator cap and oil cap in case they would be taken while at a car show, California duster, sun shield for the front windows and my wheel locks set.

I have added two canes the last few days. I have buggered up my back severely. I was at physio for two hrs this morning. Everything is Fit except me! Sure not using the blanket in back and oh the stirrups I have mounted to the B pillers

Serious now - I am so happy with my Fit door. I can keep $2 coins in handle for parking( no stretching) and I can use one cane to pull door close. The Oh Shit handle has been getting a lot of use as well to get my fat azz centered.

Damn when will I be able to crawl under dash to finish my LEDs?

I'm fairly minimalist...aside from the usual stuff,
-I keep a 12V tire pump in the spare tire well,
-a jar of bungee cords bungee'd to one of the anchors in the trunk,
-my climbing gear clipped to one of the child seat anchors (friends often go after work and it's either a last-minute decision or I may forget to bring my gear that day even if it's planned)
-my dragon boat paddle which fits eerily well if I tuck the blade between the rear seat and the fore of the wheelwell and then sit the grip in the opposide child seat anchor. I estimate this would work with paddles from about 44 - 49" and t-grip or palm-grip
-the rolled up mat that I put over the seatbacks when folded down
-umbrella
And in that convenient pocket in the trunk I keep some reusable shopping bags, a collapsible dog bowl, and a cake of surf wax (for the paddle) which has long since melted into a non-cake shape

Oh and a stuffed domo-kun standing on top of the cargo area cover
