New Fit Owner Saying Hello

Hey all, I just picked up my Blue Fit Sport on saturday with the MT for 14900. As of my commute to work this morning I have 132 mi on it and its going great so far. I've basicaly spent the past day toying with the car. There are two big things I'd have to say I really am enjoying. 1) The strange for honda mid RPM responce on the highway. This thing seems to pull easier from 55->70 in 5th than my sentra SER did. I'm talking about at 1/3 throttle as well. 2) The looks and questions. I must have had 10 people ask me about it so far. In 24 hours. Anyway, i'll post some pics when i get home. Anyone hit their first 1000 and change the oil over yet?

You got a good price on yours. I've got the same but paid list. Mines got well over 1k miles and will be switching to synth-oil soon. Dealer say's the first change is on them but I'll be doing them myself, thanks.

Nice price, does that include the shipping? If so, $800 off is pretty darn good.

I am looking at the price issue right now and it is tough to pay $15,700 for a Fit when an Accord is $16,200. I would prefer the Fit, but my wife might actually use the Accord for some of her trips, and that would mean she is not driving the minivan (which obviously uses much more gas).

If I could get a Fit for $15,000 that would sure sweeten the deal. I can wait till the end of the summer, so we will see.

In the meantime, would everybody else please stop buying them so the prices come down quicker.

My wife and I just got a 07 FIT last week!

The FIT are selling like crazy! I have to call around 20 dealers to locate my orange blaze metallic, FIT sport in 5-speed.

We are still waiting for the 06 Si in vivid blue with navigation. Its almost half a year already and the Si are coming out very slowly...

Congrats and good price, I have 950 miles plus on my car and am enjoying the drive. The oil change question has been brought up before and I believe that you should wait. It has been said that the break in oil has a high moly blend and that you should wait until the maint. minder tells you that the oil needs to be changed.

That's a great price, best one so far.

Almost 1,400 miles so far on mine, no oil change yet.
