2010 Fit Sport + Mugen Kit + Navi Price?

Hey all,

So I've been considering a Honda Fit Sport for awhile now and have been doing constant research but haven't found anyone pricing a Fit Sport with the full Mugen body kit + exhaust + wheels and navi package. Basically, I'm looking for a fully loaded Fit Sport but wanted to know what is a good price for it? I've searched on the forum but no one seems to be buying all that with their Fit.

Before flaming me for buying the Mugen kit from the dealer (because I know I can probably get it cheaper buying aftermarket), I've had my experience of modding cars, some good some bad, I've just come to the point where I just want to buy the darn thing with everything done from the dealer because I know that they just do it right. Paint job and all. =)

Thanks in advance!

I apologize if this has been posted, maybe I'm just a noob at searching =P

The mugen body kit is pre-painted.

I'm sure they'd be happy to install it for you, just go into a dealership and ask for a quote. They'll probably charge 5 hours labor to install all of it.

Hmm, so are you saying it would be better to just buy the fit without the kit?

I'm not telling you anything, I'm just trying to inform.

They'll charge you probably as much as you pay for all the Mugen accessories to install them.

BUT, and this is a crucial but, if you take delivery of the fit with all the accessories installed, you get the factory warranty on everything. That is a good thing. I wish I would have thought to do that myself. All the accessories are then called "dealership installed options" but only if they put them on before you take delivery.

I never heard of a dealer selling a Fit with the Mugen kit installed. I know College Hills Honda sells the kit separately and I'm sure they would love to sell/install one.

Hmmm, alright. Am I crazy for assuming that the mugen kit is a dealer option since its an option on the main website?

I find it odd that its on the main honda website but not being able to get it from the dealer. If this is true then it would explain why I can't find any prices with the kit. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!

Colonial Honda here in Glendale. CA had two of them pre-installed. A TW and a Silver one. Non-Nav, Just the Mugen Front, Rear, and Sides with shift knob and exterior emblems. They were stickered at just under 24K. Hope this helps.

I'm sure they'd work with you on the price quite a bit.

Remember: they want to get the damned car off the lot, especially if they put something like the Mugen body kit on it.

My dealership was pretty much clueless when it came to the Mugen accessories that are on the build a Fit webpage. I was willing to pay for the Mugen short shifter if they would have installed at no charge when I purchased the car. The salesman couldn't find it in any reference literature he had. We went back to the service manager, he'd never heard of it, couldn't find it on his parts computer. He finally had to get on the build a Fit site (at my urging) to see what I was talking about.

After some research, he decided that it'd be $90 for the install. After I did some research here in the forum, I said no thanks. When I get around to getting one, I'll install it myself.

You're probably going to have to look around for a dealer that is familiar with the Mugen accessories to have a chance at getting any kind of package deal on the install costs.

Good luck

I bought my fit with the mugen body kit, exhaust, short shift, and pedals.. When I went to pick it up they had a basic fit sport and I have to wait till next week for the parts to come in... then I have to go in and get them all added on. The positive side is that they are all covered in my warranty. Also my insurance company has to cover the extra cost too because they are counted as dealer accessories and not any type of modification. The salesman was pretty clueless about the mugen parts, but once they brought in the parts guy he knew exactly what it would go for. I did have to pay a bit of a fee for installation but it was really reasonable... tho I admit I could have bought the parts separate and installed them myself cheaper, but like I said.. no warranty if I did it that way.

it cost me like 22k out the door and that was with some discounts on part installation. Ouch!

edit: From the price listed above maybe I didn't come out so bad?

$22k for a fit with a couple of mugen pices is way to much to me. I love the fit and the mugen pices just think thats way to much. I rather save that money for something else

Yeah you guys paying over $20k for a Fit are crazy. I'd much rather have even a regular Civic with some options or a Si, hell even a 4cyl Accord.
